Dr. Richard Morgan was born in Bay City, Texas, in the Texas gulf coast region. After finishing his pre-dental curriculum at Sam Houston State University, he got his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. After serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps and a tour in South Vietnam, Dr. Morgan opened his practice of cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry in Lubbock.
The services offered in his practice include tooth-colored fillings, metal-free crowns and inlays, root canals, bridges, implants, dentures, periodontal therapy, extractions, as well as routine preventive dental hygiene for all ages. NO2 conscious sedation is also available.
Dr. Morgan is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, South Plains District Dental Society, The Seattle Study Club, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
The Morgan family includes five children and six grandchildren. Dr. Morgan and his wife, Pam, have been married for 33 years. Pam grew up in Dallas and later graduated from Texas Tech University. The Morgans attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
In his spare time, Dr. Morgan enjoys spending time with his family, golf, jogging, and college football.
